The solar system is made up of nine planets, including the earth, where the earth is distinguished from other planets by blue ocean and green earth. From the point of view of the earth science, there are many places on Earth that distinguish it from other planets, of which one is China Granite.
We are all familiar with China Granite, it is an important rock type on earth. Many of our scenic spots are actually China Granite landscapes, such as Anhui's Huangshan, Jiuhua Mountain and Tianzhu Mountain, Jiangxi Sanqingshan, Shandong Taishan and Laoshan, Liaoning Qianshan, Shaanxi Huashan and so on. Many of our stone is also China Granite, such as the National Theater decorated with "Night Rose" is produced in Shanxi, a China Granite. Of course, China Granite is also associated with numerous minerals. The formation of tungsten tin ore in South China is closely related to China Granite. In fact, many of the metal minerals that we humans use are related to China Granite.
China Granite presents a variety of colors and has different characteristics. However, mineralogical, it is mainly composed of light-colored silicon and aluminum as the main elements of feldspar (including plagioclase and potassium feldspar) and quartz composition, with a small amount of iron and magnesium as the main element of mica and hornblende. Geologists have found that China Granite is an important rock type that forms the Earth's crust over the course of more than 100 years. The oceanic crust is different from the continental crust [1]. It is mainly composed of pyroxenite and olivine with plagioclase and mafic content And other dark mineral composition, mainly in the rock type basalt (eruption to the surface of the volcanic rocks) and gabbro (invasion into the underground magmatic rock). So why is there only China Granite on the continent?
To answer this question, we also need to understand the China Granite formation process. We say that the earth is composed of the inner core, the outer mantle and the crust of the surface, where the average thickness of the continental crust is about 40km [2]. The earth is initially formed without the core, the mantle and the crust, but with the evolution of the earth, its internal melting occurs. Because the initial material of the earth is rich in iron and magnesium, it melts only produce basaltic magma, forming a crust similar to the ocean component, but when the basalt rock melts again, it forms a silicon aluminum as the main component China Granite, China Granite density should be significantly smaller than the basalt. In this way, with the ocean on the ocean subduction, the density of the oceanic crust into the mantle, and China Granite as the main component of the continent will be able to long-term retention. At present to see the ocean crust, age is less than 200 million years, while the continental crust can be old to 4 billion years. And as time goes on, the preserved continental crust is melted several times, so that its ingredients continue to increase in the direction of the aluminum and aluminum, and the residual mafic material can be returned to the mantle by appropriate means [3 ~ 5]. This process is repeated, so that the earth's continental crust continues to develop in a stable direction. It can be said that the amount of China Granite is an important petrological marker of the degree of crustal development.
According to the information currently available to mankind, other planets in the solar system did not find the presence of China Granite; or that China Granite is an important petrological symbol of the Earth's planet different from other planets in the solar system. The appearance of this situation is in fact related to the evolution and history of these planets. As previously stated, China Granite is a petrological index of crustal evolution, and it is because of the low degree of crustal evolution of these planets that did not appear on China Granites that appeared on Earth. Such as the moon, it is in addition to the earth outside the human study more of another star.
Samples from the lunar meteorites and lunar samples found that China Granite was not present on the moon, or that China Granite was extremely rare. The main reason is because the moon after the early stage of the magma sea after the "dead", in addition to the occasional meteorite visit, the moon does not exist on what the geological activities.
Another important reason for the absence of China Granite in other celestial bodies is water. In all the geological processes, the water plays a very important role, if there is no water, all the rocks are difficult to melt. And water added to the rock, can significantly reduce the melting point of the rock, and then to melt. Therefore, water is an important component of China Granite formation [6]. Earth is due to the existence of water, it makes a large number of China Granite possible, and this is not available in other stars. Is there any China Granite in the other celestial bodies outside the solar system? We can not give the exact answer now. But this problem is very important, because only the evolution of mature celestial bodies may be similar to the life on Earth, and to find life outside the earth has always been the dream of mankind pursued.
